Exciting Times

Hey all. We have now reached 150 Subscribers on our YouTube Channel (I know it says 142 on YouTube- it takes forever to update haha) and this is very exciting. I (and I'm also sure Louisa) am very thankful for all the support everyone has given us since we first started out. The BookTube community is pretty damn wonderful. Seeing all the comments and the friends we have made on this website has made me an extremely happy bunny.  I know this sounds cheesy but I just wanted to express how much we appreciate the support. Here are some GIF's that you might enjoy..

Thankyou for everything and if your not subscribed what are you doing?! The Subscribe button is over there....>

My Bookshelf Shame!

As a booktuber I feel like I ought to take pride in my bookshelf. I feel like it I ought to have a massive bookshelf that stretches across the whole wall and is filled with all my books all properly organised. I feel like I should take that much pride in my shelf that not only should it be organised maybe alphabetised by genre, but also that I should spend time re-arranging how I organise my books.

But in reality my bookshelf looks like this:

Yeahhhhh... I think I ran out of space when I was about 12. I am now 20.

See I switched to Kindle a couple of years ago because I ran out of space. And I was okay with reading on Kindle honestly. Until I started booktube, and now I just can't resist that papery goodness. All I want to do is build up my collection of books again but I can't because I have literally no more space.

Problem is it's getting to the point where I won't be living here much longer, so there's not much point in buying a fancy new bookshelf and re-organising my room when I'll probably have to move out and not be able to take it with me anyway. So I think I'm just going to have to live with the pain of not being able to organise my books for a little while longer.

Does anyone have any solutions for my bookshelf woes?

A Walk and Other Things

Hey all! So today I went on a walk and took a few pictures (it's mostly just countryside- nothing fancy) and I thought I'd post them here.

#1.

Told ya, it was just countryside.

#2.

And more countryside.

#3.

What's this? oh.. more countryside.

#4.

And.. more countryside.. wait no. Why are my shoes on here?

#5.

All the green.

#6.

Wait is that sun? IT IS... HOLY MACARONI.

Hope you liked the pictures. It took me forever to take them. (It didn't really.) If you haven't already make sure to go check out our latest video where we created the Harry Potter Alphabet Tag

February TBR

Hey guys,

Louisa talking to you today. Well there's no need to look quite so shocked!
Sorry I haven't had much time for blogging recently, it's my last year of my undergraduate degree. In university language that roughly translates to 'stress stress, oh dear god so much stress.'

But anyway today is the first day in a long while I actually had enough time to actually catch up with you guys, and I thought I would share some of the books I'm wanting to read this month. (Proving I don't just slip in to the horrific stress mode again, which lets face it is highly likely.)

So from left to right we have:
Hollow City by Ransom Riggs
Legend by Marie Lu
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
Into the Silent Land by Paul Broks
and over on my kindle I have some books from NetGalley namely:
Death of the Body by Rick Chiantaretto
Doll Bones by Holly Black
and Talented by Sophie Davis

I know I'm most likely not going to be able to read all of these but I'm going to try my best, I did manage to read 9 books in January despite my busyness so hopefully I will find the time. (:

I will be letting you know how I get on with these books over on my YouTube channel when I have read them so make sure you are subscribed to see that. There happens to be a handy dandy button over on the right that you can click to subscribe ^.^

Let me know if you have read any of these books and what you thought in the comments, please (:
~Louisa.

TFIOS Reaction

Hey all! So as most of you will probably know The Fault In Our Stars Trailer came out the other day and wow what a reaction. Here is the trailer in case for some reason you haven't seen it yet..

So my opinions? You want them? really? you sure? I'm just kidding. Firstly I liked the trailer I really did! but I feel like something might be missing from the film- which I can't judge without seeing the whole film, I know. I liked Shailene as Hazel because I felt like she fitted the image I had of her when I read the book a year or so ago. (I need to re-read it soon!). However, for some reason I felt like Ansel as Gus just didn't hit the mark for me. I don't know why either.

Apart from all this though, it still looks like a film anyone (even those who didn't read the book) could like. It looks like a cute, funny film and hopefully it will be one to remember.

That's all from me for now! Talk to you all later.
